Good Friday Prayer Walk
Dear fellow members of Churches Together in Bexhill,
“We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the prophets have written about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be turned over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again” (Luke 18:31-33; NIV).
Lent is taking us through Holy Week to the Great Sunday of Easter when we will exclaim, “Christ is Risen!” We have the good news of sins forgiven and death defeated in His name and we want Bexhill to hear it.
Please join me on Good Friday for our Prayer Walk, leaving the western lawns of the De La Warr Pavilion at 9.30am, ending at the Town Square, and re-convening at St John’s Centre for a 10.30am service.
We pray for God’s richest blessing upon our town and its churches and our families.
